Support Group Facilitator – Edinburgh & Lothian

Salary £21,500 (FTE), 20 hours per week term time.

British Liver Trust is looking to recruit a Support Group Facilitator in the Edinburgh & Lothian region of Scotland, starting immediately.

This position will be offered as a two year fixed term contract to 30 September 2016 on a term time basis. This may be extended, subject to funding.

The post has been created as part of a project to reduce the isolation felt by people affected by liver disease and to empower those with liver disease to better manage their condition. We aim to achieve this through information, education and access to a network of peer-led support. The main purpose of this position is to facilitate the creation, development and management of British Liver Trust support groups within the Edinburgh and Lothian Region, and to encourage the support groups to work in a co-ordinated way to improve the lives of people affected by liver disease.
