Director of Communications & Policy

As part of the ongoing improvement of the British Liver Trust we are seeking to recruit a new Director of Communications and Policy to support and strengthen the organisation through its next phase of development.

The British Liver Trust is a registered charity with over 25 years experience of successfully delivering:

  • awareness about all liver health issues
  • support for anyone affected by liver disease
  • informative resources
  • research
  • Love Your Liver – a national awareness campaign that includes a screening & scanning roadshow.

You will have extensive experience of communications and policy work and be looking to take on a new and exciting challenge. You will enjoy working in a passionate team that has a collective commitment to doing as much as possible to tackle liver health issues.

It is expected that the Director will work part-time with salary and hours to be agreed – we will be as flexible as possible in order to attract the right candidate. The post can either be home based or at our head office in Ringwood. The post will require regular meetings in London, some travel throughout the UK and close working with all of our team, including team meetings in Ringwood.
