The Centre for Liver Research at the University of Birmingham/Queen Elizabeth Hospital is now producing a twice yearly information newsletter called ‘Liver FOCUS’.

The Spring/Summer 2012 edition includes a front page feature which was written by one of their Patient and Public Involvement panel (PPI) who received a liver transplant.

Healthcare services are shaped by the feedback and comments received by those who use them.

We are trying to find out what liver patients and their carers want to achieve when they see a dietitian.

Our free Helpline
is open Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm.

The Helpline is now offering an extended service on a Wednesday until 8pm, with effect from November 23rd.

The NHS Expert Patients Programme in partnership with the BHA Hepatitis C Support Project will be delivering a 6 week course for those affected by Hepatitis C, open to patients/ carers/ friends of those affected by Hepatitis C.
