    Involve your work place

    • Does your place of work raise money for charities?
    • Does your employer select a charity of the year?
    • Do you have dress down days at your place of work?
    • Would you like to help fight liver disease through these activities?
    • Does your employer have a give as you earn scheme?

One idea could involve a "dress down" day

    Give As You Earn

If you earn a salary, or if your pension is paid via PAYE, making a commitment to helping people with liver disease can be done through the Give As You Earn scheme.

This involves giving directly from your pre-tax salary, so money that would normally go to the taxman goes to the British Liver Trust instead.

You decide how much you want to give each month. Then your donation comes out of your pay packet before the taxman touches it and starts helping people with liver disease straight away.

It is beneficial for you because you don’t pay any tax on the donations you make.

Give As You Earn is beneficial for the Trust, especially if your employer chooses to match Give As You Earn donations made by their employees.

To join Give As You Earn your employer will need to be running a scheme or will need to start a scheme. If your employer is running a scheme then please download the
Give As You Earn Donation Form.doc. If they are not please do suggest it to them. They may find  the corporate partnerships page of our website  helpful and the Charities Aid Foundation employers link.
