Some of our fundraisers turn fundraising into a hobby. One example is Stacey Bolton. Stacey lost both her father and her brother to liver disease and she is passionate about raising funds for the Trust and awareness about liver disease. She started up the first British Liver Trust fundraising group and it has been extremely successful.
Setting up a Fundraising Group in your area will involve gathering together a group of people (large or small) who will organise and hold at least one fundraising event in aid of the British Liver Trust every year. However, being involved in a group is not just about fundraising; we also need you to help us raise awareness of liver disease, leading to increased understanding and, in the long term, better services.
We will give you lots of help and suggestions but you can be as creative as you like about how you raise awareness and choose to carry out fundraising.
Download our Fundraising A-Z.pdf for ideas on how to raise money for the Trust.
