Andrew Law - London Marathon
On Sunday 26th April Andrew Law took on the 26.2 mile challenge of the London Marathon.
Andrew ran in support of the Trust as his family has been affected by liver disease. Andrew's father is currently awaiting a liver transplant due to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a chronic condition which affects the bile ducts.
Despite the heat, Andrew completed the run in 4:46:45 and raised over £1300 pounds for the Trust.
Thanks to all those who helped Andrew on those long miles by sponsoring him. You can still show your support for Andrew via his Justgiving page .
We'd like to say a big thank you to Andrew for taking this on and for highlighting one of the many different causes of liver disease.
Liver disease is on the increase in the UK and the Trust is working hard to raise awareness, provide support and information for patients and fund research.
The ballot for a place opens at 9am Monday 27 April. Visit www.london-marathon.co.uk for more information.
