Mari Armstrong - Disco and quiz

Mari Armstrong held a fundraising event involving a disco, a quiz and a raffle to raise money for the Trust in memory of her son, Ian, who died from liver disease last year. He would have been 40 on the 20th February 2008. Ian died in Perth, Australia on May 8th last year leaving a widow, Kylie and a son, Joshua, who is now aged seven. Mari raised a fantastic £1,800.

"Sunday evening was brilliant, what a night! Loads of money and people were so generous. Will tell you final amount when I'm down off the ceiling! You will be as elated as I am! Also, a big thank you to all my generous friends who without them I would never have got through this terrible ordeal. "
