    Current research

There is an exciting range of research relating to liver disease in progress nationally and internationally. As the world gets smaller we learn more quickly and efficiently about recent developments, and innovative information. We also learn very quickly not only about developments within the area of liver disease, but also in a whole range of ‘knock on’ areas like stem cell research, genetics, virology and cell development. It is increasingly important in research to see good collaboration across knowledge areas, so that one discipline doesn’t waste resources finding out something that another discipline has already discovered.
