    Support forums

Welcome to the British Liver Trust’s patient forums. We hope that these forums will provide online support for patients, relatives and carers who need support but are unable to access a local liver support group.

The forums ARE NOT a substitute for professional advice but other people who have had similar experiences can be enormously helpful at a time when you might be feeling very worried and alone. If you need to discuss your concerns more fully or you want to ensure any information you have been given is correct, we strongly recommend that you consult the factual advice on this website, call our free Helpline on 0800 652 7330 or speak to a healthcare professional (such as your GP or specialist).

    We currently have two forums:

These forums are not moderated and the British Liver Trust can not be held responsible for any information that is posted by members of the public. Please read the following disclaimer and the Terms and Conditions carefully. Any advice offered through the message boards should be confirmed with a suitably qualified professional before being acted upon.

We are always pleased to hear from anybody who might be interested in starting a new support group in their area. If you would like to find out more, please look at the relevant section in our support pages or
    contact Richard Hall.

If you require support direct from the British Liver Trust please contact us via our free medical helpline on 0800 652 7330.
