The British Liver Trust is working with The Goodwill Partnership to offer discounted solicitor-provided Will writing services to our supporters. The Goodwill Partnership has issued this press release to announce this new partnership. Please go to our Gifts in Wills page to find out more about this service.

The Goodwill Partnership, the UK’s leading Will writing service for charities, is partnering with British Liver Trust to offer best practice, solicitor provided, Will-writing services to their volunteers and supporters.

British Liver Trust support patients and families across the UK so that no-one has to face liver disease alone.  Liver disease is the third largest cause of premature death, however over 90% of liver disease is preventable, if identified early enough. British Liver Trust raises awareness and campaigns for  improved services for patients. The charity also supports research into the causes and treatments of all types of liver disease.

Gifts in Wills are a vital source of income for the charity, helping to fund patient services and research; any amount would make a tremendous difference to the British Liver Trust.

“Liver disease can affect anyone and more than one in five of us are at risk”, said Andrew, Langford, the charity’s Chief Executive “It’s a devastating condition that does not get the attention or funding that it deserves. Leaving money to the British Liver Trust will make a lasting impact and enable us to fund vital services, support and research. At the same time it can ensure that your family knows your wishes, make life easier for your dependants and offer tax advantages.”

Mark Jackson, Co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership, says “We are very pleased to be partnering with the British Liver Trust and are delighted to be offering our Will-writing service to the charity’s volunteers and supporters to help provide vital income for this cause.”
